Skin type and age:
What is Placenta?
Placenta is rich in a variety of nutrients that can raise a fertilized egg to an infant within 10 months. It is said that the naturally balanced nutrition of placenta cannot be reproduced artificially.
What does it do?
Placenta extract contains abundant amount of FGF (fibroblast growth factor), which stimulates three building blocks of the skin: collagen, the plump part of the skin; elastin, the tight and firm part of the skin; and hyaluronic acid, which keeps the skin hydrated and smooth. Placenta also inactivates Tyrosinase, a key enzyme that converts tyrosine to DOPA. (DOPA is converted to melanin.) That is why placenta extract contributes to fair and clear skin.
Turnover and aging
Skin cells regenerate from the bottom up. Older cells are pushed upwards till they die and fall off. The turnover time is roughly one month, however it slows down as we age.
How to use
After washing the face every morning and evening, take sufficient amount (size of a quarter) on the palms and apply and pat it all over the face. It is recommended to use before applying skin lotion, but use it with skin lotion if the smell disturbs you.
- Stop using it if it does not suit your skin, or if you feel abnormality.
- DO NOT return the essence taken out from the bottle back into the bottle, or use by diluting it.
